Christian Siriano of Project Runway fame is officially a superstar. It's no secret he's officially crossed over to the world of haute couture, but his true right of passage occurred when he showcased his fall ‘10 collection at the Bryant Park Tents--for Payless. Yup, he's arrived.
From his website: "The Fall '10 line is inspired by 1960s European women - particularly Parisian women - who got dressed every day. They wore suits, coats, gloves, a great bag, signature shoes - culminating in effortless, soft and romantic style that could transcend day to evening. The Christian Siriano Fall '10 line embodies this notion in a strong and streamlined way and presents a modernized version of getting dressed for today's contemporary woman."
Recessionistas take note: The Fall '10 collection will be available exclusively at Payless stores and Payless.com beginning next September, starting at $50 a pair.
Now everyone can afford those couture gilded gladiators.
